Renata Xavier

Renata began her studies at seven at Music State Conservatory in her home town, Pouso Alegre, countryside of Minas Gerais. In 1999, she entered São Paulo State University (Unesp), obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 2002 under Jean Noel Saghaard and Roger Wolf.

 

She has participated in major music festivals across the country, including Campos do Jordão International Festival, Oficina de Música de Curitiba and Música nas Montanhas in the city of Poços de Caldas.

 

As a guest musician, Renata has performed with the symphony orchestras of São José dos Campos, Rio Claro and Santos. She has also been a member of Brazilian groups like Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo, Orquestra Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo, Orquestra Jovem de Guarulhos, Sinfônica Heliópolis, Banda Sinfônica de Cubatão and Orquestra Sinfônica da USP.
