Mark John Mulley

Mark John Mulley was born in England, where he began his studies at an early age. He graduated from the London College of Music and carried out his postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music in London. Later, he taught Music in the Richmond Adult College and the Brunel University. He has also worked for eight years as a trombone professor at The Royal Symphony Orchestra in Oman.

 

Mark was Principal Trombone in the Coldstream Guards Band, having taken part in various ceremonies, tours and concerts. He worked with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Wren Orchestra, the Orchestre Hanover and the London Festival Orchestra in various performances and recordings. He participated in the United Nations Orchestra on tour in Germany, recording Bruckner’s Symphony No. 8.

 

In the jazz field, he has played with Andy Ross Big Band, Willie Garnet Big Band and in several festivals such as Ealing Jazz Festival and Soho Jazz Festival, playing Carmen Jones in the West End Show. Mark John Mulley performed in concerts with the musical group Rio Bossa Jazz playing blues, jazz and bossa nova.
