Públio Silva began his oboe studies with Andrea da Silva Silvério in 2011, and in the following year he started having classes at the São Paulo State School of Music (Emesp), under the guidance of Natan Albuquerque Júnior. In 2014, he was admitted at the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (Osesp) Music Academy, under Arcadium Minczuk.
He has appeared in many festivals, such as Campos do Jordão International, having been honored with a prize in its 46th edition. He also appeared at the Sesc International Music Festival in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, and the Music Workshop in Curitiba, where he studied under the guidance of Christian Wetzel, Christoph Hartmann, Washington Barella and Isaac Duarte.
Públio has collaborated with orchestras such as the São José dos Campos Symphony and the São Paulo State Youth Orchestra, the Goiás Philharmonic as Principal Oboe and Osesp as an academician. He has also performed with renowned conductors such as Neil Thomson, Giancarlo Guerreiro, Eiji Oue, Marin Alsop, Sian Edwards and Isaac Karabtchevsky.
He was a finalist of the 2016 edition of the TV Cultura’s talent show Prelúdio.
